Course & Sponsor:
  • Offer: An unconditional offer from a UK licensed student sponsor (university/college).
  • CAS: Receive a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number from your sponsor. 
Finances:
  • Tuition Fees: Enough money to cover your first year s fees.
  • Living Costs: Funds for living expenses (£1,334/month for London; £1,023/month outside London as of April 2023).
  • Proof: Bank statements or financial sponsor letters showing funds for at least 28 consecutive days. 
English Language:
  • Proof of English proficiency (spoken, read, written) through a recognized test (like IELTS) or other means accepted by your sponsor. 
Documents & Tests:
  • Passport: A valid passport.
  • TB Test: Required for applicants from certain countries (e.g., India).
  • ATAS: Academic Technology Approval Scheme certificate if your course and nationality require it.
  • Parental Consent: If you re 16 or 17. 
Application Process:
  • Apply Online: You apply via the GOV.UK website portal.
  • Fees: Pay the visa fee (£524+) and the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).
  • Biometrics: Attend an appointment to provide fingerprints and a photo.
