It is possible to study in many European countries without IELTS by providing alternative proof of English proficiency, such as a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate, other standardized test scores, or a successful interview. 

Accepted Alternatives to IELTS

Universities that do not require an IELTS score often accept one of the following alternatives: 

• Medium of Instruction (MOI) Certificate: An official document from your previous educational institution confirming that your entire education was conducted in English.
• Alternative English Proficiency Tests: Scores from other recognized tests like TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, or the Duolingo English Test (DET) are widely accepted.
• University Interview: Some institutions may conduct a personal online video interview to assess your English speaking and comprehension skills directly.
• Proof of English as a Subject: For some programs, a high score in English during your final high school years (e.g., Class 12 for Indian students) may be accepted as sufficient proof.
